Dr. Cody Sanford is originally from Van Alstyne, a small town community in North Texas. Being a first generation college student, he is known as a hard worker. He graduated from Austin College with a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Minor in Environmental Studies. He then went on to attend the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston, graduating with his doctorate of dental surgery. Dr. Sanford then spent the next years working in a private practice in Texas, growing and expanding his skills of quality and patient focused care. Dr. Sanford and his wife moved to Colorado for his love of the outdoors and wildlife, and to be closer to his wife’s family of Colorado natives.
Dr. Sanford has taken a variety of continuing education courses in order to be able to provide his patients with the highest quality care. “I wanted the ability to take care of all of my patient’s needs under one roof. Coming into the dentist can be fearful for many people, and once you establish trust with someone it is hard to be referred out to a stranger. I want my patients to know that their needs are always focused on and taken to heart. I want patients to know they are in a safe environment without judgment. I am here to help.” Dr. Sanford’s skill set includes fillings, crowns, cosmetic treatments, root canal therapy, extractions, implant placement, sedation dentistry, and many more. “My goal is to continually enhance my skills to always provide the highest quality work for my patients.”
In his off time Dr. Sanford enjoys outdoor activities including running, cycling, hiking, and fishing. He is most passionate about gardening. His proudest gardening accomplishment so far has been starting his own vineyard of 42 successful grapevines and was even able to make his own wine. You’ll most likely find him in his garden with his wife and 2 rescue cats Figaro and Meadow.
